Harriet Schlader

Harriet Schlader...

has choreograped almost all of the musicals produced at Woodminster since 1967. She also contributes to the success and operation of this series wearing too many hats to mention.

Her earlier life began as a dancer in the Radio City Music Hall Corps de Ballet and continued in the June Taylor dancers and on Broadway and national tour with The Most Happy Fella and The Music Man.

She served as a panelist for the Oakland Cultural Arts Funding program for five years and as a member of the Advisory Funding Committee for five years. She also served on the Theatre Bay Area Advisory Board for five years.

She has taught dance for over 30 years and particularly enjoys teaching a class for adult singers who need to learn to move in musicals.

The Schladers' proudest achievement: Jody, Kim, Todd and Joel.
