by Richard Rodgers
Book and Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II
Based on 'Anna And The King Of Siam' by Margaret
Landon
This
beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein musical tells the story of a young
English widow named Anna, who travels with her young son to Siam
to work as the governess for the many children and wives of the
King. Without relaxing their respective traditions and values, Anna
and the King grow to understand and, eventually, respect one another,
in a truly unique love story.
